(More customer reviews)i recently began a quixotic crusaide to collect nes and snes games from the era of my youth. some games i've collected are surprisely new and more in-depth than i recall. punisher on the nes is not one of those experiences. i think in decades past i was happy to be able to play a marvel game on the nes that just about anything would do. now after countless entries into the marvel universe, i found the punisher to be severely laking. a shooter that has a unique style where your character moves left and right on screen to avoid gunfire while simultaniously shooting at enemies on screen. this formula becomes too much too quick. i think the game would have been improved by making it a straight-out light gun shooter or a completely different style as an action/platformer. graphically is as expected from a nes game. so.....in closing, if you want mediocrity at it's mediocre-ist buy the punisher for the nes. other reasons may be if you are a huge marvel or punisher fan. possibly if you are writing a thesis on early video game violence and there socio-econimic effect on the present. if this does not apply to you forget about it.
