I would advise everyone to stay away from the DLink DAP-1522 wireless bridge. It is incredibly difficult to configure.I have not been able to do it without calling tech support.I bought it to connnect to my LG BD300 blu-ray player so that I could stream Netflix.I wish I had just bought a blu-ray player with built-in wifi. You have to connect the unit to a computer, open a web browser, and then attempt to change its settings through the browser.First, it's almost impossible to connect to DLink's site.Second, I wasn't able to save the settings once I got to the site.Third, the tech support guy had such a thick accent I couldn't understand what he was saying, so I had to keep asking him to repeat himself over and over again. The DAP-1522 is the most "user unfriendly" piece of tech I think I've ever used. The only reason I didn't give it one star is because I eventually got it working and it did connect me to Netflix.Streaming worked pretty well.I rarely had difficulty with movies stopping or rebuffering.Regardless, I'm seriously considering upgrading my blu-ray player.

At the time I ordered this item, the documentation said that it worked on Windows 98 SE, which it did not.The only thing that saved this was when I hooked up another computer with XP.

4PORT ADSL2/2+ TR067/TR069 Review

I was only able to get this product to work if using through the LAN Cable. I called in to get the wireless router part working, was forced to navigate through 5 minutes of menu options and a lengthy, irrelevant message about the limits on the product warranty, then after asking about a few things, they had me call my ISP for DNS configuring information. Then when I called back, the phone system hung up on me (after navigating through the menu and listing to the annoying, irrelevant message.) They didn't answer my e-mail for a week, so a few days later I called back and got through. The woman completely ignored my explanation of previous troubleshooting and the results of calling my ISP, because after she walked me through the same steps as the previous tech, she directed me to call my ISP to find out how to configure the DNS! After reminding her of this, she tells me to call my computer manufacturer to find out how to turn off the firewall. I explained that I was on a work laptop, and not they did not allow us to turn off the firewall, and that I have not had to turn off the firewall to use the computer with any other wireless routers in the past. After arguing with her for several minutes, I finally gave up and explained that if this product requires a disabled firewall in order to be used, that it did not meet my needs.
