(More customer reviews)I have a Wii that works fine with the composite (3 plug) adaptor.When I bought a HD TV (Insignia brand), I bought this cable, expecting the 6-plug component hookup to be better.I tried all Wii modes -- wide and normal, standard definition 480i and HD 480p.In all modes, the Wii would display OK most of the time, but then go black for a few seconds, and then come back.It would do this repeatedly, every minute or so.I gave up, went back to the composite cable, and it displays fine in 480i wide screen.(In fact, the picture is slightly clearer with the composite cable.)So this cable ain't worth it, at least for me.
